The GeneSTAR Study ha

s joined the UNITED consortium.

GeneStar is a family-based study in initially healthy brothers and sisters, and offspring of people with early-onset coronary disease (CHD). Based in  in Baltimore, USA, the study investigates mechanisms of CHD and stroke in families with the goal to unravel the mechanisms behind these diseases. Headed by Paul Nyquist the study has collected a wealth of baseline and follow-up data, genotyping and neuroimaging data that both GeneSTAR and ourselves are excited to involve in the UNITED consortium efforts.

We look forward to begin working with GeneSTAR and their team.
