The UNITED consortium is excited to announce that the Study of health in Pomerania Study has joined the consortium.
The Study of Health in Pomerania Study (SHIP) is a population-based study including two independent cohorts, SHIP and SHIP-TREND beggining in 1997 and 2008 respectivly. The studies, based in North east Germany aims to investigate the prevalence and incidence of common, population-relevant diseases and their risk factors and to investigate subclinical information. The studies are headed by Professor Hans J. Grabe of the University of Greifswald.
We are very excited to begin working with Professor Grabe, the SHIP and SHIP-TREND studies and their study teams.
